Fees
Registration – $25, due Jan. 12th*

VIOLIN:
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 3:00-6:00pm | Mason Hall Music Building, Room 181
Individual lessons in violin are available for students of all levels. Lessons are available for students in 1st grade through adult. 13 weekly, 30-minute lessons will be given. Exact time day and time will be scheduled upon close of registration, and teacher will take into account requests of parents/students. Students are expected to provide their own instruments, though a few are available for rental for a small fee through the academy.
CELLO:
Thursdays 3:30-6:15pm | Mason Hall Music Building, Room 225
Individual lessons in cello are available for students of all levels. Lessons are available for students in 1st grade through adult. 13 weekly, 30-minute lessons will be given. Exact time day and time will be scheduled upon close of registration, and teacher will take into account requests of parents/students. Students are expected to provide their own instruments, and can consult with the teacher for purchasing ideas upon registration.
Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm | Mason Hall Music Building, Room 180
String Orchestra participation in open for players of all stringed instruments–violin, viola, cello and double bass. The JSU Music Academy String Orchestra is intended for 6th through 12th grades. Recommendation from teacher is required. The orchestra will meet weekly, during the above scheduled time, with a short break.
Mondays 3:30-7:30pm | Mason Hall Music Building, Room 234 and Room 150
Wednesdays 3:30-6:00pm | Mason Hall, location to be determined
Group Keyboard I, II and III are offered offered on Thursdays, and are for first-time beginners through late-level beginners, in 1st grade through 6th grade. Students will be grouped by grade and level of experience, and notified of exact class time upon close of registration. 13 weekly, 45-minute sessions will occur over the course of the semester, and classes are limited to six students. Students are expected to have a keyboard at home on which to practice.
Individual lessons in keyboard are offered to all ages and levels. 13 weekly, 30-minute lessons will be given. Exact time day and time will be scheduled upon close of registration, and teacher will take into account requests of parents/students. Students are expected to have a keyboard at home on which to practice.
