Registration – $25, non-refundable
Schedule: Students have the option to enroll in online or in-person classes. Zoom meetings or in-person class meetings will occur during the following windows of time. Upon the close of registration, instructors will group students together with regard to level of experience and age, and advise exact meeting time.

GUITAR
Guitar – 3rd Grade through 12th Grade
10 Group Sessions, 3 Individual Sessions | $215.00 per semester

Description:
This course is intended for youth who have some or no experience with the guitar. Students choose between the following two options for instruction:
Option 1 – In-person Instruction
Students meet weekly for 45-minute, group sessions with no more six students. Every fourth week, a 20-minute, individual session is scheduled with each student in lieu of a group session.
Option 2 – Online Instruction
Students receive weekly video tutorials and have a 40-minute group session via Zoom, twice a month. Once a month, students receive a 20-minute individual session using video conferencing or in person, as desired by the student.

Description:
Courses in keyboard are offered for beginners through advanced. Group sessions are offered for the first-time beginner at any age. Students who stay in the program matriculate through several levels of keyboard basics: Keyboard Fundamentals I and II, Piano I and II, and Piano Beyond. Individual sessions are offered for a limited number of intermediate and advanced students. Students choose between the following three options for instruction:

Option 2 – Online Instruction

Option 3 – Individual Instruction (In-person or online)
Students meet weekly with the instructor for in-person, 30-minute lessons. Lessons can be in-person or through video conferencing, as desired by the student. Exact lesson time will be determined by instructor and student.

Parking in parking lots outside buildings is available to parents during these times without need for parking permits. Please refrain from parking in grass or dirt lots.
COVID-19 POLICY FOR IN-PERSON INSTRUCTION
Due to Covid-19, no more than six students plus the teacher and an occasional music major volunteer will occupy the classroom at one time. Students will observe social distancing and according to JSU policy, will be required to wear a mask. No items will be shared, and general surfaces will be cleaned between classes. Windows will be opened when possible. Should the Covid-19 pandemic require in-person classes to discontinue, all classes will be held online using our online assignment management system.
